Patrick Murphy
Accused of Murder

In our ancestor John Murphy's obituary on November 30, 1915
    It mentions his siblings:
  • Michael Murphy - Syracuse
  • Mrs Michael Daly - Syracuse
  • Mrs BA Trainor - England
  • Mrs John Bush - England
So using this new information searching for DACEY instead of DALY I found that John's sister Mrs Michael Dacey is Sarah Murphy Dacey.
Michael Dacey and Sarah Murphy were married on July 21, 1893 and they left Ireland on their Honeymoon.  Click here to see an article about their 50th
wedding anniversary on July 21, 1943

One of the articles that I came across when searching for the name Dacey in the Syracuse Newspapers was about Mrs. Michael Darcy's brother Patrick
Murphy being accused of
Murder.  Yes that is right I said Murder.  Patrick had a very interesting life and it is described in full detail through the trial.  Patrick
was a Policeman for the Railroad.  Here are two small articles about him before he was accused of murder, where he was doing his job.
1/23/1909 {Click for
